The website for the 2017 JET Programme Career Fairs to be held on Saturday, 28 January, 2017 in Osaka and Tuesday, February 21, 2017 in Yokohama is now online. On the website, you will find a schedule of the day’s activities and a list of the companies participating in the career fairs (list of participating companies subject to change).

JET participants who attend the career fair in Osaka will be able to participate in a seminar on job-hunting in Japan, receive advice tailored to their needs from job-hunting professionals and JET alumni, and practice interviews in Japanese with a professional.

The career fair in Yokohama will be held in conjunction with the After JET Conference, where participants can listen to professionals and JET alumni present on a variety of career fields as well as schedule one-on-one consultations with alumni.

At both career fairs HR representatives from a number of companies will be in attendance, ready to meet JET participants and discuss possible job opportunities in Japan!

Attendees will use a “Personal Information Form” to introduce themselves to companies at the career fair. Copies will be available the day of the fair, but we recommend that attendees download and fill out the template from this website and print out copies beforehand. Some companies will even accept Personal Information Forms by email in advance. Please check the list of participating companies for more information.

Information about applying to the JET Programme Career Fair has been sent to all JET participants via email. If you did not receive this information, please contact your contracting organisation supervisor. Former JET participants may enquire with a JETAA chapter located in Japan.
