After successful career fairs in Fukuoka and Greater Tokyo, the 2016 JET Programme Career Fair in Osaka was held on 25 April. The career fair was co-hosted by both CLAIR and the Osaka Chamber of Commerce and Industry.
79 JET Programme Participants seeking employment in Japan and 28 companies and organisations looking for global personnel attended the event. JET Programme Participants in attendance had the chance to meet with representatives from private companies, universities, a consulate office, and a law office.
In addition to the lively afternoon career fair, a lecture on job-hunting in Japan was also held in the morning to help address participants’ concerns and questions about finding employment in Japan. Furthermore, participants had the opportunity to participate in mock interviews and receive advice from former JET Programme participants.

The career fair in Osaka marks the last JET Programme Career Fair of 2016.
CLAIR plans to host career fairs for both leaving and former JET Programme participants next year as well.
