The annual After JET Conference for JET Programme participants finishing their term of employment on the programme was held on 3 – 4 March in Chiba, along with a career fair for participants interested in finding employment in Japan.
During the conference, over 400 JET Programme participants from all 47 prefectures in Japan met with JET Programme alumni and business professionals from a variety of fields and participated in career field workshops, lectures, panel discussions, and one-on-one consultation sessions over the two days.
Following the conference, the JET Programme Career Fair (Greater Tokyo) was held at the same venue. 53 organisations, including businesses, universities, an embassy, and a law office, attended the career fair to offer JET Programme participants jobs or career building opportunities.
