One of the best things about the JET Programme is our vibrant global community, numbering over 79,000 alumni all over the world! At CLAIR, we are always looking for JET alumni who are interested in participating in CLAIR-organised events to support current JET Programme participants. In the past, JET alumni have contributed by providing career support to current JETs, serving as speakers or instructors at various conferences, and cooperating with CLAIR to publish articles in one of CLAIR’s various publications.
Many current JET Programme participants face challenges when deciding on their post-JET career paths and would greatly benefit from the opportunity to speak with JET alumni who have successfully built careers in fields current participants are interested in. The opportunity to speak with JET alumni can help current participants determine whether a similar career might be a good fit or not and ultimately help them solidify their post-JET career path. Additionally, JET alumni with in-demand skills, regardless of their current country of residence, may be invited to speak at both in-person and online conferences throughout Japan, as well as be showcased in some official CLAIR publications.
