Share Your “Arigato” Message with JET for the Programme's 40th Anniversary!
To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the JET Programme, CLAIR is launching the “JET Arigato Campaign,” inviting current and former JET participants, as well as everyone connected with the JET Programme, to share messages of appreciation for the Programme itself and for the people and communities they encountered through it. Post your message of appreciation on social media using the hashtag #ArigatoJET!
Selected submissions will be featured in a commemorative video shown at the JET Programme 40th Anniversary Reception, while other submissions may also be featured on the CLAIR/JET Programme website and social media channels.
Applicants who complete the application form will also be entered into a prize draw to receive an official JET Programme 40th Anniversary commemorative gift.

Campaign Overview
The JET Programme was established in 1987 and this year, we will be celebrating its 40th anniversary! Since its launch, more than 80,000 participants have taken part in the Programme, building meaningful connections and fostering international exchange in communities across Japan. This campaign invites current and former JET Programme participants, as well as everyone connected with the JET Programme around the world, to share messages of appreciation for the JET Programme and for the people and communities they encountered through it. Through these submissions, we hope to share the JET Programme’s 40-year history and its appeal with audiences in Japan and around the world.
How to Participate
１ Post on Social Media
Share a message of gratitude on social media using the hashtag #ArigatoJET.
２ Complete the Application Form
If you agree to allow your submission to be used for or shown at the 40th Anniversary Reception and other promotional purposes, please complete the Application Form.
３ Selected Submissions will be Featured at the 40th Anniversary Reception and Elsewhere
Selected submissions will be featured in a video shown at the 40th Anniversary Reception and on the CLAIR/JET Programme website and social media channels.
４ Enter for a Chance to Receive a Commemorative Gift
Applicants who complete the Application Form will be entered into a prize draw to receive an official JET Programme 40th Anniversary commemorative gift.

Submission Requirements
１ Submission Format
Applicants who wish to submit through the Application Form should choose one of the following formats:
(1) A text message (up to 250 Japanese characters or 90 English words) with up to three photos
(2) A video (up to approximately 30 seconds)
２ Language
Submissions should, in principle, be in English or Japanese. However, you are welcome to express "Arigato" ("Thank you") in your native language.
Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:
1. Individuals who have interacted with JET Programme participants, including those from local governments, schools, and host communities
2. Current or former JET Programme participants
