CLAIR sends out safety confirmation emails (ALSOK) to those placed in areas where an earthquake registered as a 5 or above on the Japanese Seismic Intensity Scale has occurred. Please respond immediately by clicking on the link provided to confirm your safety each time you receive such an email. This is an important source of information for contracting organisations and CLAIR to confirm the safety of JET participants.
Moreover, it is likely that your contracting organisation and embassy are trying to confirm your safety through other means. Please also respond and let them know your condition as soon as possible.
